For more than 25 years, Sean has helped people build strength, confidence, and healthier movement habits.

But he noticed a recurring challenge: when people lost access to coaching or tried to continue on their own, many struggled to stay consistent. Not because they lacked motivation, but because time, guidance, and confidence often became barriers.

That experience inspired RUYI.

Sean wanted to create a simple, portable tool that makes mobility, stretching, and recovery routines easier to incorporate into everyday life.

His mission goes beyond one product: to help more people understand their bodies, build lasting movement habits, and stay active throughout life.

Chinho Ko joined RUYI because the problem felt familiar: staying connected to movement becomes harder when life gets busy, work gets longer, and the body slowly becomes easier to ignore.

For Chinho, RUYI is personal. He spent more than 25 years training martial arts and has 15+ years of coaching and instructing experience, where movement, discipline, and body awareness were part of daily life.

After moving into long office days, he felt the contrast. Sitting for long hours made it harder to maintain posture, mobility, and the same connection to movement he had built through martial arts.

That background shaped how he sees RUYI: it has to be practical, clear, and useful in real life, not just impressive in a gym.

For Chinho, RUYI is about making useful movement easier to return to during work, travel, training, and long days when it becomes easy to ignore the body.
